- I am a Wall Street–trained, Harvard-educated serial entrepreneur, focused on building scalable institutions through technology, finance, healthcare, and digital infrastructure.
- I began my career in investment banking at Citigroup (M&A) in New York, where I worked on complex transactions and gained exposure to global capital markets, including landmark IPOs—among them the world’s largest IPO at the time.
- Early in my career, I also served as an advisor to the President of Pakistan, gaining direct exposure to public policy, regulation, and institutional decision-making and investments from abroad.
- I later embarked on a Master’s in Finance journey at Harvard University, deepening my understanding of capital markets, fintech, digital banking, and emerging technologies.
- I am the Founder of Capital TV, a leading media platform with a strong digital presence, reaching 10+ million subscribers and generating 100+ million monthly views across digital platforms.
- I am also the Founder & CEO of InstaWorld, Pakistan’s fastest-growing fintech-enabled logistics platform, integrating payments, reconciliation, logistics, and data intelligence, while laying the foundation for digital accounting, blockchain-enabled systems, and next-generation financial rails. In parallel, I launched I-Marketing, a digital ad agency.
- In healthcare, I have established Shabraj Medical Centres and Kamishka Medical Centres, technology-enabled diagnostic services, including GCC-aligned medical certification under the Wafid program.
- I am founder of Shabraj Developers, with a vision to modernize real estate through tokenized property ownership, enabling broader investor participation in real-asset markets.
- I am an active investor in global/local markets as well as international food chains and a strong believer in blockchain, digital currencies, AI, free markets, and global trade. I believe Pakistan can emerge as a regional innovation hub and a source of future global unicorns.
- I am an alumnus of Aitchison College, where I had the honour of serving as Head Boy, and of Macalester College. These institutions shaped my thinking and discipline and made my journey to Wall Street possible.
- Outside of work, I am an avid reader, a golfer and someone who enjoys long walks and quiet reflection.
- A final note for fellow entrepreneurs: talent and execution matter, but entrepreneurship also demands luck. I believe that luck is shaped by the blessings of our parents—love them, seek their blessings always, and never underestimate their power.
Background & Credentials
- I’m an AI entrepreneur with a Ph.D. from Cornell University, focused on building Voice AI systems for high-stakes, compliance-heavy operations, especially in healthcare revenue cycle management (RCM).
- Today, I lead Operator Labs, where we build Voice AI agents that help healthcare revenue teams save thousands of staff hours, expand verification and claim follow-up capacity, reduce days in A/R, and recover revenue faster.
- At Operator Labs, our Voice AI agents handle the most time-consuming parts of healthcare operations, including insurance eligibility and benefits verification, payer follow-ups, prior authorizations, claim status checks, patient financial outreach, and collections. They take on long hold times, IVR navigation, repetitive payer calls, and documentation so RCM teams can focus on exceptions and outcomes.
- Our agents speak naturally and operate within healthcare-grade guardrails, including HIPAA, auditability, and compliance by design. The result is faster cash flow, lower cost-to-collect, and higher staff leverage without adding headcount.
- Operator Labs works with healthcare providers, specialty pharmacies, and RCM teams where payer friction directly impacts revenue and patient experience. We don’t replace teams; we multiply them.
- Beyond healthcare, our platform is also deployed in real estate, telecom, and financial services where high-volume voice interactions demand accuracy and trust.
- Before Operator Labs, I founded Forloops, an AI advisory practice helping enterprises operationalize Generative AI. Through Forloops, I served as lead GenAI consultant to Johnson & Johnson, working with the MSAT team to optimize Carvykti cancer therapy workflows.
- My journey into AI began at Cornell University, where my Ph.D. research led to multiple U.S. patents, a Best Paper Award, and recognition at the Turing Award Centennial Ceremony.
- I later returned to Pakistan to help drive national-scale digital transformation, advising the Ministry of IT and Telecom, serving as CEO of the Universal Service Fund, and leading nationwide broadband initiatives.
- Across every chapter, one belief has stayed constant. AI should remove friction, respect people, and create real-world impact.
